Creating your perfect fantasy photoshoot look should be exciting and stress-free. Most clients don’t already own fantasy-themed costumes—and that’s perfectly okay! I’ll help create or gather each piece needed to bring your vision to life.

Whether you want to go bold with your chosen theme or keep it more subtle, I can help with that.

Your outfit is more than just clothing—it’s a powerful tool to help you feel confident and connected to the portrait experience. Everyday items you already own can absolutely work and often make you feel more at ease in front of the camera. When we incorporate something personal, it adds an emotional layer to your final images—like a visual keepsake tying your inner world to the fantasy theme.

If you’re unsure what fits with your chosen fantasy vision, that’s totally okay! We’ll talk through it together. I can guide you in selecting or borrowing items, and in some cases, I may even create or source specific pieces to add to my studio collection.

⚠️ Important Note: For fantasy portraits, I need at least two months’ notice before your session. This allows plenty of time to design, source, or fit any custom pieces. If a costume fitting is needed, we’ll schedule that in advance so everything is ready with time to spare.

About My Style

Fantasy portraits encompass a wide range of styles—each one a doorway into something extraordinary. They're not just images. They're reflections of who we truly are inside—bold, whimsical, courageous, and full of magic.

For a long time, I didn’t feel like I was enough. Like many people, I was told I couldn’t. That I shouldn’t. That I wasn’t smart enough or strong enough to follow the dreams in my heart. And for a while, I believed it.

But I found my way out—through creativity, through connection, and through the lens of a camera.

Fantasy photography became the place where I could finally express the version of myself I always knew existed. The strong one. The magical one. The one who didn't fit in the box—and didn't need to.

And that’s what I now offer others through my work:

More Than a Camera: "How I Found My Voice Through Photography”

When I was a little girl—like many of us—I got asked the age-old question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

I remember freezing every time. Not because I didn’t have dreams, but because I had too many. I didn’t want to pick just one. The pressure to choose, to fit into one box, always made me feel stuck.

Eventually, I started giving answers just to satisfy the question. One time, when I nervously offered up an answer I’d been too shy to say before, something happened that I’ll never forget. My aunt looked at me and said,

"You’re not smart enough to do that. Pick something else."

I was ten years old.

That moment stuck with me like a shadow. For the next 15 years, it whispered in the background of every decision I made. That single sentence shaped the way I saw myself—not smart enough, not capable enough. And yet, deep down, I knew that wasn’t the truth.

In 2009, everything began to change. I met someone who saw me for who I really was. My partner encouraged me to challenge that old belief. With the love and support of my spouse, my mom, and my sister, I started to rewrite that narrative. I stopped asking myself, “Am I good enough?” and began declaring, “Yes. I am.”

I enrolled in college and studied Visual Arts.

It took me seven years.

Seven years of late nights, tears, doubts, and small victories.

But I did it. And I’m proud.

Photography became more than just a skill or a career—it became my voice. It gave me the freedom to tell stories, including my own, through images that are bold, whimsical, magical, and honest. It gave me a way to help others see the beauty in themselves, even when they can’t quite see it yet.

I often say my photography is a balance between fantasy and reality—and that’s because I believe we all live in that space. We want to feel grounded, but we also want to dream. We want to remember who we are and imagine who we could be. That’s what I aim to capture in every session: the truth and the wonder, side by side.

So here I am, inviting you into this space. A space where you're not just a client—you’re a story waiting to be told. Where your quirks are celebrated. Where your strength and softness coexist. Where you're not just seen—you’re remembered.
